House Ants

House ants are small, persistent foragers that trail into kitchens and pantries in search of food and moisture. Colonies can grow large and split into multiple nests, which is why store-bought sprays often knock down what you see without solving the problem.

They typically nest in wall voids, under flooring, or in landscaping close to the foundation.

Signs You May Have House Ants

  • Steady trails of small ants along counters, baseboards, or window sills
  • Ants concentrated near food, trash, or moisture sources
  • A rotten-coconut smell when certain house ants are crushed
  • Nests visible in mulch, under stones, or near the foundation

Our Treatment Approach

We identify nesting sites and foraging trails, then apply targeted interior and exterior treatments that eliminate colonies at the source rather than just the ants you can see, backed by a perimeter barrier to keep new trails from forming.
