Brown-banded Cockroach

Unlike most roaches, brown-banded cockroaches prefer warm, dry areas away from water — often hiding in upper cabinets, behind picture frames, inside electronics, and near ceiling lines rather than under sinks.

Their unusual hiding spots make them one of the trickier roaches to fully eliminate without a thorough, targeted inspection.

Signs You May Have Brown-banded Cockroach

  • Small roaches (about 1/2 inch) with light brown bands across the wings
  • Egg cases glued to walls, ceilings, or the undersides of furniture
  • Activity in dry areas like closets, electronics, and upper cabinets
  • Sightings away from typical kitchen and bathroom hot spots

Our Treatment Approach

Because brown-banded roaches hide in less obvious, drier locations, we inspect beyond the usual kitchen and bathroom areas — closets, electronics, furniture — and apply targeted treatment to those harborage points along with a general interior and exterior treatment.
