Fleas are small, fast-moving pests that feed on the blood of pets and people. A single flea can lay dozens of eggs a day, which is why an infestation can spiral out of control quickly once fleas establish themselves in carpet, bedding, or your yard.
Pets are the most common way fleas enter a home, but shaded, humid areas of your yard can harbor them even without an animal ever stepping inside.
Signs You May Have Fleas
- Pets scratching, biting, or grooming excessively
- Small, dark specks (flea dirt) in pet bedding or carpet
- Itchy bites on ankles and lower legs
- Fleas visible hopping in carpet or on light-colored flooring
Our Treatment Approach
We treat indoor living areas and outdoor shaded, humid zones where fleas develop, targeting adults as well as eggs and larvae in the environment. Treating pets is a separate step best handled with your veterinarian, and we're happy to coordinate timing with any pet treatments you're using.
